As we are all trying to adjust to the changing environment surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Visit Mooresville is dedicated to keeping residents and visitors up to date on the businesses and attractions that we all love.
The Visitors Center has reopened and is greeting guests daily. The CVB staff has completed the “Count on Me NC” training through the NC Department of Health and Human Services and are proud to display the Certificates of Completion as a commitment to keep everyone healthy and safe. We urge visitors to our area to take the guest pledge as well.
In keeping with the Governor’s phase two order issued on May 22, 2020 “Safer at Home” still requires a 10 person limit indoors and a 25 person limit outdoors. State and local parks, museums, bars, nightclubs, and playgrounds remain closed. Swimming pools are open with restrictions. In addition, a new order, instituted by the Governor of North Carolina, requires people, with some exceptions, to wear face coverings in public when social distancing is not possible. This includes a direction to wear masks both indoors and outdoors, including on sidewalks, where 6 feet of distance can’t be maintained.
Need a place to stay? Our hotels are open Want a great meal or a locally brewed beer? Most of our restaurants, breweries and wineries are now open for business with seating limited to 50% capacity.
