Travel and Business Updates for Mooresville

As we are all trying to adjust to the changing environment surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Visit Mooresville is dedicated to keeping residents and visitors up to date on the businesses and attractions that we all love. While our Visitors Center is closed to the public, we are still taking phone calls and answering emails if you have any questions.

In keeping with the Governor’s order issued March 27, North Carolina residents are to stay home unless they need to leave for essentials – such as jobs, food, medicine, outdoor exercise, or to help others. Gatherings of more than 10 people are also banned, and everyone is directed to stay at least six feet away from each other.

Need a place to stay? Our hotels are open. Want a great meal or a locally brewed beer? Our restaurants are keeping us fed with to-go, carry-out and delivery orders. You can get Growlers to go from our breweries. They’ll bring them right to your car for you! Most restaurants and businesses have gift card purchase options, which is a great way to support locally owned small businesses during this difficult time.  Check out the options (and how you can help support local businesses right from your phone!)

To assist workers from the hospitality industry that have been so hard hit by COVID-19 restrictions, or if you are a worker who is in need of assistance, please visit the NC Restaurant Workers Relief Fund website.
