Saint Patrick's Episcopal Church features Grammy and Indie Award winning Al Petteway & Amy White at the next Solas Leighis concert series event on Sunday, Sept 14 at 7pm. The duo incorporates an intoxicating blend of original, tradition, contemporary Celtic- and Appalachian-influenced music with occasional nods to rock and jazz - this one is a don't miss! The 14th Annual Blues & Burritos will be held on Friday, September 19 from 6-10pm. Hosted by the Homesley & Wingo Law Group this annual favortie festival takes place on the front lawn of the firm’s office. This year's performances include Pat Mother Blues Cohen, Max Drake and Shelia Carlisle as special guest performers joining Rusty Barkley and the Part Time Blues Band. All donations from the event benefit the Lake Norman Wildlife Commission and HealthReach Community Clinic.
The 3rd Annual Gateway Block Party at exit 33 will be held Saturday Sept. 20, 2014 from 11am-3pm. This year's Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists Wildlife Oyster & Shrimp Fest is set at the new LangTree Lake Norman.
